EU Lisbon Treaty ratifications at a glance

The outcome of the ratification processes concerning the European Union’s Treaty of Lisbon affects nearly 500 million Europeans, It is hardly surprising that progress and setbacks are monitored across the continent.

One handy and updated table can be found among the meeting documents for the European Parliament’s Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO) for Monday 9 March 2009:

The Note: The Treaty of Lisbon: ratification in the Member States is dated 27 February 2009. The main message on the title page is concise:

The following table is a photography of the ratifications in the Member States, which continue after the Irish referendum. 25 Member States have so far concluded the parliamentary ratification of the treaty but in two of these countries the Presidents have yet to sign the ratification act (Germany and Poland).

Parliamentary ratification is still under way in the upper house of the Czech Parliament.

Four more pages present the essentials concerning the individual EU member states in almost telegraphic form. A handy source if you want a quick overview.
