Jean-Claude Juncker president?

If the heads of government or state are looking for a president of the European Council with experience and engagement in EU affairs, regardless of geography and gender, Jean-Claude Juncker, the prime minister of Luxembourg, will win hands down.

These merits were succinctly put by the speaker of the German parliament, Norbert Lammert (AFP, 13 November 2009).
